We are so excited that 10 or our students and 2 of our teachers are heading off next week on Sunrise School's first ever overseas trip (to Singapore). Better still, this will be Ms Susi's first time overseas. Best of all though, is what they're heading to; the Youth Environmental Summit (YES).
YES promises some incredible experiences. Students will visit and learn about some great environmental projects that are happening in Singapore and around the world, will listen to and meet some prominent environmental and community leaders, will learn about business enterprise (especially in starting up their own environmental projects), share about different cultures and make friends from many different countries.
We look forward to hearing all about YES when the students return. :)
