I'm looking for production support for a series of vignettes for Disney Junior, called 'Power of Promise'. We need to find a child between 4-8 years old in Indonesia that is involved in any kind of literacy-related activities that contribute to society in some way. The requirement is that he or she speaks good English, and comes from a proper nuclear family. Literacy being any kind of storytelling, or community plays, etc. The storytelling or literacy-related activity does not have to be strictly English, but just the child's lines to camera will be. The 2 day shoot will be for a 60 second clip for the Disney Channel.
We need one child, but a few options to present to our client first (at least 5, and shot on mobile phone will do - just need to see the child and his family speak on camera and explain their activity/work). Shoot itself will be about 2nd week Jan 2015, depending on when we secure the talent. Actually the kid can come from anywhere in Indonesia, but hoping to do it in Bali because the location is much prettier!
The kids that can only speak bahasa Indonesia can also make the cut. English speaking ability is only a bonus now. Hope that helps a lot...
We can highlight how if we end up shooting this at their location or featuring the child taking part in one of their programs, it will be great free publicity..
