After 15 years in the health industry as a kind of 'messenger' for over 76 PHD scientists covering 13 disciplines (toxicologists; immunologists; biologists, physiotherapists.. etc..etc) i have learned a great deal about what makes us healthy..... and having a high level of anti-oxidents present in the cells of our body AND maintaining an alkaline environment are the 2 basic factors of long healthy life and anti-aging.
There have been many controversies surrounding the benefits of anti-oxidants ,, but finally the medical world has caught up. My advice for anyone choosing a Doctor is to ask their thoughts about anti-oxidants and health.... if he/she fobs them off as snake oil... just turn and RUN, obviously they have not kept up with their reading.

Over 2 months ago i bought a water ionizer machine (after a lot of research)... it seems there are also many conflicting views... many negatives from similar people that i heard dismiss anti-oxidants....
I would never claim that these machines are the answer to all your health problems but i believe it is a better choice than anything else ...ie.. drinking alkaline water sets up a healing environment and allows your body to function better than if drinking ordinary tap or bottled water.
Just like if a man has been drinking sodas all his life.. his body will go thro health issues. If he suddenly stops drinking the sodas (replacing all drinks with say ordinary tap or bottled water) his body will start to heal itself. Is the healing process due to the drinking water?... Ans: yes and no.
NO, since his healing is mainly due to the fact he has stopped the poison (stopped drinking sodas) but at the same time YES since he has replaced the sodas with something of BETTER quality ALLOWING and helping his body to 'heal'.
2 weeks into drinking the water, arthritic pain from my right forefinger disappeared.... :)).. most likely a detox effect of the alkaline water.
