So skateboarding has taken over Sunrise School. It is popular with girls and boys alike. We were so lucky to have Motion http://www.motionsk8.com/ set up a mini skatepark at our bazaar a few weeks ago. Everyone loved it and the kids are now wanting to do skating as an after school activity. :)
The JHS boys are also interested in doing some wood work after schools.They ideally would like to build a skate ramp but would like to start by building mini skate trick equipment... Iike planks to do jumps over, or rails to slide over...
Is there anyone who would be interested in running woodwork as an after school activity?
